She is made in a cast stone with bronze/black patina and a graphite polish (which is weatherproof and colourfast) Colours vary from a dark bronze to a brown black colour other patinas available including verdigris. (see my green cat sculpture here)
This sculpture is a portrait of my own cat Picky (short for Michaelmas) don't ask me how it got shortened to that name, but anyone who understands cats will have a good guess!  She is a small and petite cat, but lords it over the other larger male cats that I have.  She often sits in this very demure classically egyptian pose, so after a visit to the British Museum where I was stunned by the elegant egyptian sculptures of cats I decided that I would sculpt Picky in that pose.  I have shown a group of two and three for this photo as they look so cute in groups.  But she is equally appealing on her own.
